Making a rule-set takes a lot of playtesting and so on and so we need models. Obviously you can use any models you want to represent a soldier, but I've hunted out some old viridians ( by Urban mammoth) which can be used for the UPF, or alternately the Cadians. We've not really started working on the UPF as of yet and there should be a bit of discussion of what we want them to look like. For the Eireneans I'm getting some Tau (although prices are pretty high compared to what I remember!). They seem similar enough to the drawing I did without being too similar. Might be best to start on a small skirmish-type game before applying it to larger numbers (because you have to develop more varied units and so on). It'd be best to look at developing it more when we have more idea about the backgrounds and how to work that into a game. But this is just the starter.

I do remember there was a lotta chatter about making a wargame before, but people instead settled on making mods for different computer-games instead.
Not that there's anything wrong with the idea, 'course.
